About the DigiWaam

WAAM in Digital Transformation: Innovative Manufacturing Training for Youth (DigiWAAM) is an Erasmus+ KA220-VET project focused on advancing vocational education in the field of manufacturing. The project centres on Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) technology, providing young individuals with the skills required for the digital transformation era.

DigiWAAM develops innovative training modules combining WAAM processes, digital design, and Industry 4.0 concepts. It bridges the gap between education and industry, fosters sustainability, and enhances employability for participants.

The project is implemented by a strong international consortium with partners from Turkey, Poland, Greece, and Italy, ensuring a collaborative and diverse approach to achieving its goals.

By aligning vocational education with labour market demands, DigiWAAM supports the digital transformation of manufacturing and prepares the workforce for future challenges.
