On April 23–24, 2025, all partners of the DigiWAAM project came together in Italy for our first in-person meeting.
We gathered across two inspiring settings:
🔹 At ITS Cuccovillo in Bari, we discussed current findings from our needs analysis surveys and how they shape the future of WAAM-based training. Also, we had a chance to visit a high-end additive manufacturing company, Roboze SpA.
🔹 At Università del Salento in Lecce, attention turned to designing curriculum modules and their context, along with discussing the dissemination opportunities during and after the project period.

We thank our hosts, ITS Cuccovillo, Università del Salento, and Roboze, for their hospitality and a warm and engaging experience. Special thanks also to the team members who supported dissemination with photo documentation throughout the meeting.
With WP2 now nearing completion and WP3 under development, we look forward to our next coordination steps, including online check-ins and training content production in the months ahead.

The DigiWAAM project is committed to strengthening vocational education through industry-relevant, modular training in WAAM technology. More updates coming soon.
